Network Client v4.2 Software Patch

Refer to Technical Bulletin: TB-00165-00-080903 – Network Client v4.2 Patch for more information.

This software update for Network Client (running software version 4.2) addresses the following issues:

  • Network Client v4.2 backward compatibility issues with prior versions of Intellex
  • Date format issue on streaming playback and incident clip builder features
  • A number of Network Client, VMK, and keyboard issues
  • Keyboard LED not updated in a timely manner

NOTE: The software patch must be applied to each Network Client unit running software version 4.2.


Network Client v4.2 Software Patch Installation Instructions:

  1. Using a computer with an Internet connection download the file "NetworkClient_42_Update_CM0001.zip" and unzip to a removable storage media device.

  2. Note: If Network Client has an Internet connection the file can be downloaded directly to the Network Client computer.

  3. Exit the Network Client application and run the "NetworkClient_42_Update_CM0001.msp" file from the removal storage media.
  4. Wait for the Preparing to Install Wizard to complete.
  5. Click on Update.
  6. Once the patch files are installed to the Network Client machine, click on Finish to complete the installation.
  7. When prompted restart the Network Client computer.
