Intellex Ultra, DVMS, LT, IP v4.17 Software Patch CM004

This software update for Intellex (running software version 4.17) addresses the following issues found within Intellex v4.17

  • Pan and Tilt buttons missing from camera control GUI in certain camera handlers.
  • Intellex Web Server does not allow user to modify the ports being used.
  • Activity Log does not record the correct number of alarms retrieved by Network Client in some circumstances.

NOTE:  The software patch must be applied to each Intellex unit running software version 4.17.  The 4.17 Network Client patch is also required to be installed in conjunction with this Intellex Patch.  To download the patch - click here, and follow the instructions.


Intellex v4.17 Software Patch Installation Instructions:

  1. Using a computer with an Internet connection download the file "Intellex_417_Update_CM0004.zip" to a removable storage media device.

  2. Note: If the Intellex has an Internet connection the file can be downloaded directly to the Intellex, follow steps 2 and 3 to exit the Intellex application then download the file.

  3. Exit the Intellex program by selecting Utility > Exit. When prompted "Do you wish to quit the program?" select Yes.
  4. At the password screen enter the pin code and select OK to exit the Intellex application.

  5. Note: Contact Technical Support for your PIN code.

  6. Run the "Intellex_417_Update_CM0004.zip" file from the removal storage media.
  7. Wait for the Installation Preparing to Install Wizard to complete.
  8. Click on Update.
  9. Wait while patch files are installed to the Intellex.
  10. Click on Finish to complete the installation.

  11. NOTE: The Intellex will automatically restart.
