Intellex Raid Storage System Compatibility Update

The Intellex RAID Storage System (RSS) Compatibility Update enhances the functionality of the Intellex Ultra providing three new features:

  • RAID Storage System Drive Failure Notification – hard disk failures in the RAID Storage System create events in Intellex Ultra.
  • Large Database Support – A tool for configuring the database for up to 10 TB of data.
  • Intellex Player frame-by-frame playback – an enhancement to the exported player that allows single step playback.

NOTE: For more on configuration and use of this update, download the RSS Compatibility Update Installation and Configuration Guide. The Intellex RAID Storage System Compatibility Update requires Intellex software version 4.03 to be installed first and is only compatible with Intellex Ultra.

Download Instructions:

  1. On a PC equipped with a CD writer, download and save the software below to your local hard drive.
  2. Copy the file to a CD or USB storage device for installation onto the Intellex.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Exit the Intellex application by clicking on Utility, Exit. Then type in the Exit PIN code.
  2. Insert the CD or USB storage device with the RSS Compatibility Update.
  3. Double click on the My Computer icon
  4. Double click on the media device with the RSS Compatibility Update.
  5. Double click on the file Intellex 4.04 RSS Compatibility Update.msi
  6. Follow the instructions as the installation program installs the update.
  7. When the installation is complete, the installation program will automatically shut down the Intellex Ultra.
  8. Restart the Intellex Ultra.
