Download & Installation Instructions:
- On a PC equipped with a CD writer, download and save the software below to your local hard drive.
- Copy the file to removable media. Burn to a CD-ROM or copy to a thumb drive.
- Exit Intellex by clicking on Utility, Exit. Enter the exit PIN code.
- Insert the media with the Intellex_win2ksp4.exe in the unit. If you are using a USB thumb drive, copy the file on to the desktop and run it from there. (Remove the thumb drive after transferring the file from the thumb drive; some systems may try to boot from the thumb drive, which could interfere with the update since the system reboots at least twice during the update.)
- From the desktop, explore to the file Intellex_win2ksp4.exe and double click it.
- At the prompt asking whether you are sure you wish to install the Windows SP4, click Yes. A message appears that the system will reboot several times.
- Click OK. The installation takes approximately 8 minutes. The system reboots for the last time and returns to its normal operating condition. (If the system hangs up and displays a boot error when you use a USB thumb drive to get the update on to the system, you need to remove the USB thumb drive from the system and reboot manually.)
- Following the update, remove the media with the update on it from the CD-ROM or USB port.
